The first car I bought after moving to Los Angeles over 20 years ago. I think I paid $300 for it and although it moved under its own power, it was several counts below a beater. Wish I had kept the wheels though!
At least your first So Cal set of wheels looked like it rolled off the set of a cop drama. Mine was better suited for the scrap yard when I first bought it--and it only got worse.
I dunno man, that old Monte was pretty sad.... the side window isn't down, it's gone. It had 70s style swivel seats but the drivers side wouldn't lock in place, so if I hit the brakes hard I'd be staring at the car next to me! Oh, and you can't see all the holes in it from guys trying to pull out the dents lol!
Like I said, straight off the set of a cop drama! Those aren't dent holes, they're bullet holes from when Detectives Carver and Hunt were pinned down by some bank thieves. I can see it all now . . .
